The track for the lumber mill yard on what used to be the "Quail Ridge Branch" has been connected to the main line. It is now known as the Pleasant Gap Branch to more accurately reflect it's geographical (alphabetical) location on the railroad. Fascia installation on both levels is complete and the subroadbed for the trash facility is being installed. The yard and engine facility are complete and fully functional on a separate booster.
There's still debugging to do....Bill W. brought some newly-built freight cars this week and the first way freight ran over the entire railroad and into the industry tracks. Sorry, but I forgot to take photos!
Next up: paint the fascia, install the telephone system, build the trash facility, start scenery, get structures and equipment out of storage!
Looking good John.
